Modern life is rubbish. We need advise, guidance, and heroes. Bono, the rock god and saviour of Africa and Bjork the Queen of Iceland and new age white witch of pop are under qualified but overly eager to share their absurd views on how to cure the planet. Can celebrity anarchists and circus devilment save our children?
It’s a bad advise absurd circus show presented by Bono and Bjork. It is a satire on celebrity culture using circus skills (duo trapeze, corde lisse, partner acrobatics, hula hoop, slapstick and clowning)
We live in Belfast, a city with a troubled history. The people have developed a savagely dark humor in order to deal with the history. You can see it in music, plays and films, but its street theatre has never really been able to express this darkness. The practitioners have been creating generic family shows, that ask very little of their audience, only that they enjoy themselves. We want to explore the darker themes that we see in our city. We believe that exposing them is better than trying to bury them. We want to create street theatre that asks hard questions for the audiences, that might challenge what they believe is exceptable in society and on the street.

We want to make theatre that makes people take notice, but not to shook with crassness, but to challenge with ideas, opinions and some savagely dark human truth. Street theatre from the dark side of feel good. Dysfunctional family entertainment. Through circus, clown and theatre, we hope to disturb, take over, inspire change and mostly remind people that they are not alone.
