Duo signed at Ascetic House (Destruction Unit, Silent Servant), BOY HARSHER brings together two facets a priori antinomic of music; deeply cerebral and incredibly dancing.
With a first EP "Lesser Man" self-produced on tape in 2014 under the name of Teen Dreamz, the group´s main ambition was to build an accompaniment to texts declaimed by Jae Matthews, half of the duo. As the months progressed, the music developed by Gus Muller became more complex and eventually became part of the project. They then take the name BOY HARSHER.
The duo released their first LP in 2016, "Yr Body Is Nothing" (DKA Records). Very quickly spotted, the album is exhausted in a few months and put the name of the group on many lips.
Going as far as synthpop as in industrial music or EBM, the music of Boy Harsher takes the decision not to disconnect the brain of the listener from his legs. The songs, whispered words, murmurs, by Jae Matthew (cuckoo Italians Do It Better) respond to the synthetic music of Gus Muller, and plunge the listener into a second state. But make no mistake, on stage, Boy Harsher strikes hard.
