49 Swimming Pools

49 SWIMMING POOLS is a new french act fronted by singer-songwriter Emmanuel Tellier, along with long-time friends Etienne Dutin (on guitars) and Fabien Tessier (drums and many nice other instruments). Their first album, recorded over the last two years, is called TRIUMPHS and DISASTERS, REWARDS and FAIRYTALES. It was recorded in France, in the Loire Valley. It was produced by Fabien Tessier. .. The band then went to New York for post-production at Sterling Sound with the world-famous Chris Gerhinger - one of the only guys in the States who can actually name all the players of the french soccer team (even the bad ones...)
