GERRY McAVOY (Basse) fut LE bassiste de Rory pendant 20 ans (le solo de basse de « Bullfrog Blues » c´est lui !!!). Instigateur du projet Band Of Friends, il a convié 2 compères pour faire revivre les inoubliables « Calling Card », « Cradle Rock », « Shadow Play », « Tattoo´d Lady » etc. de notre ami Rory : TED McKENNA, batteur de Rory de 1977 à 1981. Marqué par un jeu très Rock, il a fait partie d´un grand nombre de formations majeures (The Sensational Alex Harvey Band / Greg Lake / Gary Moore / Michael Schenker Band).
